Asset Management
Mr. Bond is Chief Executive Officer of Attucks Asset Management, LLC, an independent Manager-of- Emerging Managers that concentrates on creating multi-manager portfolios in U.S. equity, international equity, fixed income and hedge fund-of-funds space. Mr. Bond is responsible for the overall management of Attucks, new product and new business development.
He founded Attucks Asset Management in 2001 to fill a need for an independent entrepreneurial manager-of-managers firm. Mr. Bond has over 30 years of investment management experience and has over 20 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur. In 1996 Mr. Bond founded Columbia Capital Management as an independent financial and investment advisor to government entities; he sold his interest in Columbia Capital in 2010.
Mr. Bond received an AB degree from Princeton University in 1979 while attending the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. He received an MBA in Finance and Marketing and a JD from Northwestern University where he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. Mr. Bond is a former Chair of the National Association of Securities Professionals. He serves on the Board of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability. He is also an active member of the Business Leadership Council and the Economic Club of Chicago.
