Delante Greer is a financial planner and Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant℠ (ChFEBC℠) with Opulentia. Based in Chicago and frequently working from the firm’s Hunt Valley office, he serves clients nationwide—specializing in retirement planning, income protection, and tax-efficient wealth strategies for high-earning professionals and federal employees.

Delante’s path to financial planning began as a client of Opulentia. That personal experience, coupled with his background in law enforcement, shaped his appreciation for intentional planning and the importance of expert guidance during life’s pivotal transitions.

While serving as a police officer, Delante founded a nonprofit focused on financial literacy, igniting his passion for education and equitable access. Today, he channels that passion through initiatives like Modern Matrimoney, where he helps couples align their financial goals, and the Alternative Career in Sports Academy, supporting athletes and their families as they navigate career transitions and long-term planning.

Beyond his advisory role, Delante serves as Committee Chair for the Lake County Estate Planning Council and is a board member of AWK & Associates, a firm that strengthens the financial operations and strategic planning of medical professionals.

His financial insights have been featured in Entrepreneur, TEDx, the Illinois CPA Society, and the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. In 2024, he was named a ThinkAdvisor Luminaries Winner and received the Men of Excellence Award from the Black Professionals Network.

Delante earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and is currently pursuing his Certified Financial Planner™ designation through Northwestern University. He is dedicated to helping clients live with confidence, give with purpose, and build a legacy that reflects what matters most.
